Photography Credits

First the Credits to those who donate their services
for the photography you view as you scroll through our website

Photos appearing on our Web pages were taken either
by our talented La Senora Staff Photographers
or donated by the generosity of professional photographers
Lynn Waldron, Barry Schwartz and Gunnar Nettleship

In 2009 during our geoarchelogical research with
The Cotsen Institute of Archeology & The Geoarcheological Laboratory
performing ground penetrating radar(GPR) studies in the
Pascual Marquz Family Cemetery
videos appeared on all network TV stations
in the greater Los Angeles Region

Videos were made of dogs from the Institute for Canine Forensics
as grave sniffing dogs sought grave locations in our Cemetery.

Videos were made of lectures on the Legacy of the Rancho
by our Historian, Ernest Marquez, a direct descendant
of the 1839 Mexican Land Rancho Boca de Santa Monica Grantees
and a direct descendant to Francisco Reyes,
a Spanish Soldado del Cuero (leather jacket soldier)
who arrived in Alta California in 1771 before the first settlers,
as a member of the Portola party bringing Padre Junipero Serra
back to Alta California and locating Monterrey Bay.
Reyes become the 3rd Alcade (Mayor) of Pueblo de Los Angeles
and the Grantee of the Spanish Land Grant Rancho Encino .....
which covered the entire San Fernando Valley

We hope to recruit a Volunteer to bring some of this
donated video footage to our website during our 2010 Season

Perenially photogenic La Senora
continues to be the subject of stories by photo-journalists
from Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Cuba

Photos taken during our events appear regularly
in local Westside magazines
